The Resource Center's consulting services match highly skilled professionals with nonprofit organizations to provide on-site, intensive, project-specific assistance with management issues and challenges. We concentrate in the following areas of organizational development:

    • Board Development

    • Strategic Planning

    • Fund Development Assessment and Planning

    • Human Resources

    • Marketing/Public Relations

    • Program Design and Evaluation

To see a full list of our NRC consultants and their bios, download our list of consultant partners at the top of the page.

The NRC staff will provide the consultation or will facilitate the relationship between consultants and nonprofits by serving as the first point of contact; assessing organizational needs and matching the appropriate consultant with an organization. For more information, call the NRC at (951) 686-4402 x 162.

Why Use Consultants?

Running a nonprofit organization, while rewarding, presents a unique set of challenges that need comprehensive and positive solutions. Whether a nonprofit organization needs to develop a more effective Board of Directors, improve their human resources program, or plan for the future of the organization, it can be helpful to involve an outside consultant or facilitator.

Become a Consultant

We welcome your application to join a select group of professional trainers and consultants that support nonprofits and the Inland Empire and add value and expertise to our clients’ experience with The Resource Center. Start a Nonprofit

To successfully establish a new nonprofit organization, many factors must be considered:

·         What is its mission?

·         What type of organizational structure and classification will best suit its purpose?

·         What are the steps to develop an effective strategic plan?

·         Where will the organization find funding?

·         What licenses, permits, and registrations does California require?

·         Does the IRS require and when?

Find answers to these and many other questions using the Nonprofit Resource Center’s Nonprofit Starter Packet above. Simply click on the links to download each document, or, you can request the packet by mail or email at mponce@vcrivco.org.
