Volunteer Center of Riverside County
Linking People in Neeed with Those Who Can Help

Welcome to the

Volunteer Center of Riverside County

Our mission is to Link people in need, with those who can help.

Since 1966 The Volunteer Center of Riverside County (VCRC) has been creating safe and healthy communities with an emphasis on providing services and referrals to the truly needy.

Each year the VCRC assists men, women and children in need. Our services are divided among eight different programs: a Volunteer Connection program, promoting volunteerism by recruiting, training and placing volunteers, a HELPline Crisis & Suicide Intervention program, providing trained counseling 24 hours/7 days a week, a 211 Riverside County program, connecting people to appropriate community resources and intervening in problematic situations before the crisis stage, a Transportation Access Program (TAP), distributing bus tickets through other agencies for the truly needy, disabled and seniors, a Shared Housing multigenerational program, connecting home seekers with home providers in a shared arrangement, a Senior Ombudsman Services (SOS) program, deterring elder abuse through community education and the investigation of senior's problems in long-term care facilities and an Alternative Sentencing Program (ASP) One-Stop program providing court ordered restitution and diversion services for clients.
